Washington DC, Virginia, Maryland & Destination Wedding Photographers

If you have made it this far, we believe that we have caught your eye! Please know that you are in good hands. As a husband and wife photographic team, we have become highly regarded as top wedding photographers on a national level among our peers. Holding the title of one of the most well seasoned and experienced best wedding photographers' DMV title in Washington DC, Virginia, and Maryland metropolitan area specializing in South Asian weddings and events. Please note that we have two additional wedding photo galleries - "Weddings" for all things NOT South Asian, "South Asian" weddings for all things South Asian, obviously! These have been separated after receiving feedback given that we cater not only to South Asian weddings exclusively but given it is our niche, some find the vibrancy to be intimidating .... this definitely gave us a good laugh, but we thought to keep it simple and less intimidating to some that we would heed the advice and allow those who prefer to linger within their preferred comfort zones. Our photographic coverage caters to a particular clientele globally. However, our immediate service area that we call home would be in and around the Washington DC metro area, referred to by locals as the DMV (DC, Maryland, and Virginia). As a premier South Asian Indian Weddings photographic provider covering multi-religious events such as; Sikh weddings, Hindu weddings, Muslim weddings, Telugu weddings, Punjabi weddings, Gujarati weddings, and other beautiful Indian related non-denominational weddings inclusive of multi-cultural and religious fusion events. Our coverage experience extends into Jewish, Christian, and other inter-faith weddings allowing us to tackle any event with grace and knowledge of their custom and traditions to predict from inexperience the unpredictable. As credible destination wedding photographers, we can travel internationally to cover the most simplistic and most detail-oriented outdoor destination weddings. When the weather brings those weddings indoors, you can rest assured that your shoot team is knowledgeable and prepared to tackle any lighting obstacle maintaining our ability to deliver images you will proudly share with family and friends. These galleries found above in our header are separated into “Weddings” and “South Asian, “regardless of the ethnicity or traditions of your wedding day photographic needs; you will find that our style and photo coverage remains consistent and true whether it be a beach wedding, hotel ballroom wedding, or a quaint, intimate backyard wedding amongst your closest family and friends. We encourage you to take the time and look through our wedding portfolio and read through our FAQs to learn more about our processes and approach to providing custom coverage that meets the needs and wants of each client. This website is full of useful information as you begin your wedding planning process; we hope you will take the time to utilize it all. And of course, don't forget to fill out that contact form. Remember, if you would like a custom photography proposal for our services, you want to be sure to fill out all the fields possible. Giving us the ability to provide you with a “non-committal” proposal for your specific wedding day coverage needs!

The Regeti’s are a well-known name amongst their niche of South Asian wedding clients and listed amongst the top 500 wedding photographers globally on Best of Wedding Photography. Having begun their journey well over 15 years ago within the wedding photography market, they filled a void for a desperately underserved clientele with little to no creative entitlement. At the time, anything outside of traditional ceased to exist within most South Asian bride's wedding images. The Regeti's quickly became an overnight sensation. It was no wonder why Amy and Srinu Regeti quickly excelled as one of the MOST sought out and respected South Asian Indian photographic teams. They were awarded by the International Special Events Society for three consecutive years for Best Social Photography for a South Asian Indian Wedding entry and a Best of Social for a quaint wedding in the Historic Town of St. Michaels. They also appeared as special guests on Nightline ABC associated with the British Royal Families Princess Diana as a sign of the times. Gracing print and digital publications around the world such as Thailand Magazine, Professional Image Maker of SWPP, Rangefinder, Grace Ormonde, Martha Stewart Weddings, Vogue India, People Magazine, theKnot Magazine, Bride’s Magazine, Washingtonian B&G, Modern Bride Magazine, Engaged! Magazine as well as editorial photographers for the publication.

They are featured in many printed book titles for their trade regarding their ability to light and guide their NICHE clients into comfortable poses that have set industry standards amongst many now colleagues throughout the market. The Regeti's work can frequently be visible through online resources such as Maharani Weddings, South Asian Bride Magazine and Mandala Weddings. They have taught at WPPI (Wedding and Portrait Photographers International) as the God Mother and God Father of Boudoir Photography. Responsible for its widely accepted standards amongst many American men & women photographers today, they were the Boudoir Marathon's sole creators. The two have influenced an entire market of wedding photographers during the digital movement and the spark of DWF (Digital Wedding Forum). Also, last but not least are formerly known bloggers for WeddingWire.
